Their burgers are really good, but it's a little pricey for...well...burgers!

Made my first visit to the much-hyped Smashburger yesterday and was a bit underwhelmed. The burger was big and good, just could have been a little more flavorful and a little less greasy. Fries were o.k. One thing of note, the customer service was wonderful, especially for a fast foodish type place. I wish I knew his name, but he went out of his way to help me thru the menu and was patient as I asked questions. Worth one star himself. I would return for sure as it was good, just not sure how it will fit into the regular rotation with so many other burger joints that are as good or better.

We ate here and it was fast and good! Will be back! Staff was friendly and very helpful.

The food is delicious and hot Staff are friendly and efficient. While dining in, I had a to-go order. When it came out, the staff placed the food under their hot lamp and kept it warm. The dining area is fairly large for the number of patrons I've seen during many of my visits. I would recommend Smashburger over Red Robin because you get better quality food and you don't have to tip.

Worst burgers in town. Zero flavor. The fries are the only reason I gave 2 stars. Even that being said I ordered the buffalo fries only to receive regular fries. But they were good none the less.

I've given this place several tries now and I'm just not that impressed. We have so many better local burger joints with fresher ingredients and choices than Smashburger. I have had their chicken and black bean patties, with numerous veggies/sauces and combos but nothing was really ever that great. My husband has the beef and it's always juicy but never prepared correctly. The sweet potato fries are the best thing going for them, but you really can't mess those up! This time out of the 4 people at our table only 1 received the correct items on their burger. It wasn't the guy at the registers fault either, because you are able to see and review your order as he types it into the computer. And we noticed we weren't the only ones missing items from our orders. Our table was right next to the kitchen window and several people were standing around asking for avocados. ranch, onions, fries..etc. It might have been an off night for the kitchen but all in all it was very disappointing.

Fries are great as long as they drain them or cook them when the grease is hot, otherwise they are greasy. Burger is ok but its big.....mehhhh

Not one for chain establishments, but dang... We'll be back. My wife and I both got a small sized burger and split a side of fries.

I've been to a bunch of Smashburgers in San Diego and thought it was over hyped. The marketing company that works with that franchise does a super good job with social media marketing so maybe I was expecting more. *shrugs* I wasn't really a fan until I moved here and I think it's because the food is just cooked WAY better. Or maybe it's because the beef is better in Oklahoma, I have no clue. In any case, the BF's fam love this joint; especially the salads. They come in oblong futuristic bowls. I think Smashburger is made for a certain type of person. A person who likes a gourmet burger that comes in a tight little package of taste. If you're a fan of a big burger then this is not the place for you. If you're expecting a big ol' mess ala Nic's Grill or Tucker's onion burger, then this is NOT the place for you. Think Five Guys and In & Out rolled up into one. **UBER COOL FACT** Each Smashburger has a regional burger based on a cities famous flavors. The Oklahoma has fried pickles. The San Diego- Fresh avocado, cilantro, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream and chipotle mayo on a torta roll served with a wedge of lime. Los Angeles pan-Asian sandwich and a Chai shake. Say what?!?!!? You get the picture. My favorite thing on the menu are the Smash fries. Rosemary and EVOO coat these delicious shoe string style potato confections. Man! I prefer them over the sweet potato one's hands down. Like it, don't like it. All a matter of preference friends. It's at least worth a try.

Crispy buffalo chicken sandwich! Mushroom and swiss burger! I do enjoy smashburger a lot! I was really surprised by the quality of the food they have and the prices are really good. The wait times for food is nice and short. The staff is always friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a good burger but doesnt want to deal with waiters, tipping, and slow meals!

I definitely did not get the hype of Smash Burger when they first opened. I have given them a chance though and been back a few times. I am a born and raised Okie; hard to turn down a burger. The menu here offers something for everyone. They even have salads. You can customize your sandwich any way you like from the bun to the type of patty. They offer beef, chicken, veggie, and black bean.

Damn good burger. Juicy with a little crispness on the outside...like Steak & Shake, but three times the size on a nice egg bun. Smash Fries are outrageous with olive oil, rosemary, and garlic on top. Good prices too.

Very impressed. Fresh and good. Menu is more diverse than other places. Chicken or beef, salads, regular fries or sweet potato fries (sweet potato fries were very good), Haagen-Das milkshakes. give this place a try---I'll be back! First visit but based on this experience I would take Smashburger over Five Guys.

The only reason I gave this spot 2 stars instead of 1 was the food. They have good food, from the burger customization choices to the different kinds of fries you can get and everything in between. The service is lacking though. We've had very few good customer service experiences at both locations in OKC and now we typically go elsewhere to get a burger because of it. Customer service rules all, step your game up Smashburger.

We decided to try this place the other week. Saturday afternoon. It was busy. They have a similar setup as Texadelphia as far as routing people down a long hall on one side. They have menus you can pick up and peruse as you wait behind the masses. The older people in line were having some difficulty with the menu. It can be a bit confusing. Too many choices is not necessarily always a good thing. It's not just burgers on the menu, but chicken sandwhiches too and some other bits. We figured, might as well try what they are named for. So two burgers, one order of herbed fries, iced tea and a vanilla shake...about $19. Yea...ouch. Honestly, it's a hamburger. There is only so much you can do beyond buying good beef to begin with. Same thing with the chicken sandwiches. It wasn't an awful burger, but honestly, for the money you can do better elsewhere. The "herbed" fries, mehhh... again, only so much you can do to a french fry. The haagen daz milkshake was tasty however, so thumbs up on that menu item. You get a number for your table when you order. They bring it to you when it is ready. There is a line on the credit card receipt for a tip, which sort of seems like leaving a tip at McDonalds or such. Nobody does it. I would just as soon wait at the counter until the order is up at places like this. But it's not big enough inside to do that without major traffic jams. The interior had no real wow factor. Some limited outdoor seating was available if you want to roast in the sun or have your stuff blown off the table with Oklahoma winds. A better burger can be had at any number of places including BJs just down the road. And they have a much better and more interesting interior design there as well. So was there any real reason for us to say "wow, let's come back to Smashburger again in the future"...mmmm...no. Are value concious teens going to love hanging out there? Probably not at those prices. If I were a betting man, I would say this current business model they have is not going to do well beyond the initial "let's try that new place" crowd.

Was okay, very crowded place. Shake was great. Burger was good, but not exceptional. I would go back. Salads looked interesting.

I have eaten at several different smash burgers. The food is consistently good. Much better than your average burger from chilis or bjs. This particular location has the friendliest staff I have encountered. Very impressed and I will definitely be back. Fried jalapeños are amazing!

Not impressed. Slow service, food was meh, & prices were expensive. Next time I will go to either Red Robin across the street or S&B Burger Joint on May.

I like Smashburger alot. Not your regular burger and now that the new has worn off not as crowded. The prices are a little high, but if you are burnt out on drive-thru burgers this is about par. The smash fries are very good if you like fries with a twist.

I travel frequently and rely on reviews from web sites such as Yelp and Urbanspoon when I dine-out. Today, thanks to Smashburger, I have elected to participate and write my first website restaurant review ever. I can only hope I do not shit my pants from food poisoning before I finishing my review. If i could give zero stars, I would. For starters Smahburger is incredibly small, was very crowded, and there was no seating available. Unfortunately one only discovers there are no seats after the order is placed and paid for at the front-counter where the under trained cashier promises an 8 minute ticket. Seeing a restaurant completely packed to capacity and no seating with an 8 minute order bouncing around your head is stressful at best. Two grilled chicken sandwiches, one cheeseburger, a kids chicken strip meal, one shake, three fries, and three drinks were only $47.00 to boot. After 10 minutes or so ( see 8 minute ticket promise) a table finally cleared of people, but sadly did not clear of the previous diners food, sauce smears, crumbs and garbage until we sat there awkwardly for 10 minutes ( see 8 minute ticket promise). We had to flag down an employee to clear the trash and half eaten food from our table. Finally a young man with dirty shoes that were covered in even more dirty half eaten or spilled food including fries smashed into the soles of his sneakers put his feet on the booth seats and cleared away the debris. Our food arrived 25 minutes into the adventure (see 8 minute ticket promise) and after seeing my burger, I would have gladly accepted an additional 5-10 minutes on the grill. First, there was no cheese on my cheeseburger. The waitress sent it back and it returned to the table in less than one minute with a slice of cold American Cheese on top. Although I would have preferred it melted, I grudgingly began to eat nonetheless. A few bites into my Smashburger topped with cold American cheese I discovered that the cheese was not the only cold item on my plate. The burger was blood raw and red. It was cold in the center and absolutely disgusting. I sat in silence for a few minutes while my son peeled one inch thick breading from his chicken tenders. About this time Dirty shoes managed to fins our table again and asked us how our food tasted. I informed him of my dilemma. He did offer to send it back but I believe he really meant re-heat my existing burger not re-fire a new one. I wouldn't know as I did not accept his offer for fear the juvenile 19 year old cooks yelling in the kitchen would use my bun as a Kleenex on the re-fire. Dirty shoes also suggested that the raw burger was really more my problem than Smashburger's when he informed me that they use quality ingredients and most people prefer their burgers rare. He said in the future I should order them well-done. First of all, i don't appreciate his assumption that I would ever step back into the place. Secondly, its a terrible chain that somehow is supposed to make us behind the times Okies feel like we are getting some fancy Australian Wagu beef burger and a taste of how real people in the rest of the world enjoy burgers. It is what it is, a chain. Not a transcendental food experience. Never again.
